THE FOREIGN MINISTRY MOURNS THE PASSING OF FORMER PRESIDENT MIGUEL DE LA MADRID HURTADO

The Foreign Ministry deeply regrets the death of former President Miguel de la Madrid Hurtado today in Mexico City.

Miguel de la Madrid Hurtado was the president of Mexico from 1982 to 1988.

On behalf of Foreign Secretary Patricia Espinosa, the Mexican Foreign Service and other personnel, the Foreign Ministry extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of former President De la Madrid  and mourns the loss of this distinguished Mexican.
