THE GOVERNMENT OF MEXICO REGRETS THE DEATH OF THE PRESIDENT OF MALAWI

On behalf of the Mexican government, the Foreign Ministry expresses the deep regret with which it received the news of the death of Bingu wa Mutharika, President of Malawi since May 2004.

The Foreign Ministry, on behalf of the government and people of Mexico, extends its deepest condolences to the government and people of Malawi and to the family and friends of President Mutharika for this irreparable loss.
