THE NEW AMBASSADORS TO THE NETHERLANDS, SWEDEN AND PORTUGAL ARE SWORN IN

During today’s session, the full Senate confirmed the appointments of the Mexican ambassadors to the Netherlands, Sweden and Portugal.

The new ambassadors are: Eduardo Ibarrola Nicolin, Ambassador to the Netherlands and Permanent Representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons; Jorge Lomonaco Tonda, Ambassador to Sweden and, concurrently, to Latvia and Lithuania, subject to their consent; and Benito Andión Sancho, Ambassador to Portugal.

The legislators wish the diplomats every success in their new posts.
