MEXICO STRENGTHENS ITS RELATIONS WITH HONDURAS

The Foreign Ministry reports that the Undersecretary for Latin America and the Caribbean, Ambassador Norma Pensado Moreno, met today with the Honduran Undersecretary for Foreign Policy, Ambassador Mireya Aguero de Corrales.

During the meeting, the two undersecretaries discussed various issues on the bilateral agenda. Reviewing the relationship between the two countries, they applauded the level the relationship has reached in the last two years. They also discussed immigration issues and assessed the economic and trade relations as well as development cooperation. 

Undersecretary Aguero is in Mexico to attend the second meeting of the Central America Security Experts Group  of crime-fighting component of the Central America Regional Security Strategy (ESCA)  that will be held on Tuesday in the Foreign Ministry.
