THE FOREIGN MINISTRY WELCOMES YOUTHS FROM SOMA, JAPAN 

A ceremony was held today in the Inter-American Center for Social Security Studies (CIESS) to welcome 20 children and six adults from Soma, Fukushima, Japan, who were victims of the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami. 

The ceremony was led by the Director General of Technical and Scientific Cooperation of the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID), Jose Antonio Tripp; the Japanese Ambassador in Mexico, Shuichiro Megata; and representatives of the Japanese delegation in Mexico.
