MEXICO MEETING ON STRENGHTHENING THE INTER-AMERICAN HUMAN RIGHTS SYSTEM IS INAUGURATED

The Mexico Meeting on Strengthening the Inter-American Human Rights System was inaugurated today in the Foreign Ministry. It is being co-chaired by the Foreign Ministry’s Undersecretary for Multilateral Affairs and Human Rights, Ambassador Juan Manuel Gómez Robledo, and Commissioner José de Jesús Orozco Henríquez of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR). 

The two-day meeting for officials, academics and civil society organizations is organized by the Commission with the Mexican government acting as host.
