2012 “EXPRESATE” (EXPRESS YOURSELF) ART AND AUDIOVISUAL CONTEST 2012 Art and Audiovisual Contest Theme: Volunteer? Me? As part of the 67th anniversary celebration of United Nations Day (October 24, 2012), the Foreign Ministry’s Directorates General for the United Nations and Civil Society Organizations, together with the United Nations Information Center in Mexico (UNIC); Save the Children Mexico; the United Nations Fund for Children (UNICEF); the National Council for Culture and the Arts (CONACULTA); the National System for Integral Family Development (DIF) and Telefónica Foundation, invite you to participate in the “Exprésate” (Express Yourself) art and media contest. The theme this year is “Volunteer? Me?” The contest aims to promote awareness and reflection on volunteering by enabling children to find the right way to freely express themselves while publicizing the work of the United Nations around the world as well as Mexico’s role in the UN.
