THE SECOND ANNUAL WOMEN VENDORS EXHIBITION AND FORUM IS INAUGURATED IN THE FOREIGN MINISTRY

• The event is co-sponsored by ProMexico, the Mexican Association of Women Entrepreneurs, the International Trade Centre and WEConnect International.

• More than 350 delegates from 48 countries are attending.

• Various agreements were signed.
 
The second annual Women Vendors Exhibition and Forum was inaugurated in the Foreign Ministry today. The event is co-sponsored by the International Trade Center (ITC), ProMéxico and WEConnect International. The Foreign Ministry’s Director General of International Cooperation and Economic Development, Nathan Wolf, welcomed the more than 350 delegates from 48 countries.

For two days, the participants will put various business practices in action that will give them access to new markets. They will have the assistance and advice of public and private organizations, and of international organizations that specialize in trade facilitation. There will be working meetings to learn about purchasing and selling in sectors such as mining, construction, clean and green technologies, textiles and clothing, and agribusiness.

During the opening session, 12 agreements were signed between buyers and sellers for such products as organic coffee, textiles and jewelry.
