THE MEXICAN GOVERNMENT WISHES VENEZUELAN PRESIDENT HUGO CHÁVEZ A QUICK AND FULL RECOVERY

Regarding the announcement by Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez of his upcoming surgery in Havana, Cuba, the Foreign Ministry, on behalf of the Mexican government, extends its best wishes for a successful operation and for the full recovery of President Chávez.

The Mexican government also expresses its solidarity with the people and government of Venezuela.
