THE PRIME MINISTER OF NEW ZEALAND ON AN OFFICIAL VISIT TO MEXICO

 

President Enrique Peña Nieto will receive New Zealand’s Prime Minister John Key on Tuesday, March 5th. The Prime Minister will be on an official visit to mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mexico and New Zealand.

 

The aim of the visit is to strengthen the political dialogue and to set the stage for a closer bilateral relationship, overall. The President will meet with the Prime Minister and members of his entourage.

 

Prime Minister Key is traveling with a large delegation of businessmen, who will be meeting with their Mexican counterparts.

 

Prime Minister John Key’s visit to Mexico is the first by a foreign head of government during President Peña Nieto’s administration.
