MEXICO URGES A RETURN TO DIALOGUE FOR THE KOREAN PENINSULA

Mexico calls on the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to cease its belligerent threats, which endanger peace and stability on the Korean peninsula, the region and internationally. It urges Korea to return to the path of dialogue and negotiation.

Mexico urges all parties to show restraint and make all efforts within their power to prevent the current situation from escalating, and to continue the search for a negotiated, definitive solution on the peninsula, based on the principle of seeking peaceful settlements for disputes.
