THE UNDERSECRETARY FOR LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN TRAVELS TO CUBA

 

The Foreign Ministry’s Undersecretary for Latin America and the Caribbean, Vanessa Rubio Marquez, traveled to Cuba, where she met with Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla; Vice Foreign Minister Rogelio Sierra Diaz; Vice Minister of Higher Education Aurora Fernandez Gonzalez; Vice Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Antonio Carricarte, and the President of the National Bank, René Fernández Lazo.

 

The purpose of the meetings was to draw up a list of both countries’ priorities for the political dialogue, trade and investment, cooperation, culture and tourism, among others, in order to strengthen the bilateral relationship and reinforce the close relationship between the Cuban and Mexican societies.
