MEXICO AND BRAZIL AGREE TO WAIVE VISAS AGAIN FOR ORDINARY PASSPORTS

The Foreign Ministry announces that, starting at midnight on May 16, 2013, the governments of Mexico and Brazil will eliminate visa requirements for ordinary passports.

The move comes after a meeting between President Enrique Peña Nieto and Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff during the Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) that was held in January in Santiago, Chile; the aim is to increase tourism between the two countries.
